Ramadan is the month of forgiveness and blessings. It is the 9thmonth of the Islamic calendar and lasts for either 29 or 30 days. During this sacred month, Muslims fast and recite the Holy Quran.
Some individuals are excused from fasting in Ramadan, including menstruating women, pregnant women, elderly people, babies, and those who are ill.
Fasting during Ramadan is an act of worship, and Muslims observe it to seek rewards from Allah.
At the end of Ramadan, Muslims celebrate Eid al-Fitr. On this day, they wear their best clothes, apply perfume, and go to the mosque for the Eid prayer. Eid el-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan and the beginning of the Islamic month of Shawwal.
