The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday in Benin by the Assistant Director of Media and Protocol, Uchechukwu Olisah.
The statement quoted the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NABTEB, Dr Mohammed Mohammed, as advising schools, parents, guardians and candidates to complete registration early to avoid last-minute difficulties.
He urged stakeholders to make use of the registration window and ensure all procedures are properly completed before the deadlines.
The board also said the registration process has been simplified through online platforms to improve accessibility and reduce stress for candidates and schools.
For the May/June in-school examinations, schools are required to request registration slots through their state offices, capture candidates using NABTEB biometric software, and complete registration via the official portal.
The board explained that schools are also expected to obtain login details from state offices, make payments, and finalise registration through its school portal.
For the National Common Entrance Examination, candidates are expected to request Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) through state offices and complete registration via the official portal.
The board added that candidates can also create accounts independently, log in, and complete registration online, while schools may process bulk registration through state offices.
NABTEB said payments and final registration steps are to be completed via its designated online platforms.
Dr Mohammed reiterated the board’s commitment to improving service delivery through technology, noting that digital systems will enhance efficiency in examination administration nationwide.
He also called on candidates and school authorities to comply strictly with registration guidelines and ensure accurate submission of data.
