Renowned philanthropist John Mfon John has provided educational materials to students of Debatech International Schools in Itu Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, as part of his commitment to empowering young learners.
The outreach, organized in collaboration with Mfonation and the Akwa Ibom Iconic Kings and Queens, aimed to equip students with tools, knowledge, and motivation to excel academically and professionally.
The event, which took place at Debatech International Schools, featured a variety of activities, including a quiz competition, career talks, and motivational sessions delivered by Mr. John Mfon via video call.
The school principal, Mrs. Mfon Ekpenyong, expressed gratitude for the initiative, hailing Mfonation for choosing the school and investing in the future of its students.
Students were encouraged to utilize the donated materials effectively and dedicate themselves to their studies to achieve success in their chosen fields.
“This outreach wasn’t just about giving back—it was about empowering the next generation with tools, knowledge, and motivation to succeed,” remarked Mr. John.
The outreach builds on Mr. John Mfon’s previous efforts to develop youth capacity, such as last year’s training of over 200 young people in technology programs at no cost.
Highlight of the event was a show of appreciation from the students, who offered prayers and warm wishes to Mr. John Mfon, recognizing his ongoing contributions to educational and community development.
