The Kids and Teenager (KAT) Club has matriculated 65 students for career guidance training in various professional fields in Kano.

The Kano State Commissioner for Education, Alhaji Gwani Ali Haruna Makoda, represented by Hajiya Khaulat Idris Abubakar, commended the programme and assured the organisers of government support.

The Director of Special Programmes at the Kano State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Alhaji Nura Ibrahim, said the board plans to establish career clubs in primary and junior secondary schools to provide early career guidance.

The founder of KAT Club, Mr David O. Olasunkanmi, said the programme aims to expose children to career opportunities early, building a better society through informed youth.

Parents, including Mrs Obodo Hellen and Mr Meki Waziri Daniel, praised the programme for adding value to their children’s academic performance and career awareness.

The students will study professions like engineering, medicine, and law enforcement.
