My dream society

My dream society

By Firdaus Adedokun

I know a place that when I wake up in the morning to open my window, I would find squirrels in their nests having fun and also having to smell the beautiful scent of nature every day.

Meeting people of different shapes, sizes and looks and knowing that we are one is what I would call “celebration of humanity.”

Also, going to market places, parks, halls, and seeing people having smiles on their faces and always happy even when they are asleep.

In my community, there would be no wars or any sort of fighting between any group and also each religion or beliefs must live in harmony with each other.

I wish in my community, there would be no form of racism against the blacks and separation of things like cups, toilets, stores, fountains etc. we should all be treated the same way.

People should have the liberty to do anything they want to do provided it is legal and they should not be disturbed or attacked by any means.

We should have the best of leaders that are responsible and guide us, that will talk 20 per cent and listen to their people 80 per cent.

My society is very peaceful to the extent that the last killing was in 2010 but it was a mistake. We spread happiness and help those in need and everywhere is clean and beautiful.

I also really noticed that women are the leaders in the societies and they are doing the right things, our people love them and they love us back.

I know that this is something people may think it is not possible but everything is possible and you cannot know the answer until you try.
