Schools, Teachers, Pupils Get Set for New Academic Session

Schools, teachers and pupils across the country are gearing up for the commencement of a new academic session as preparations intensify ahead of resumption.

With the long vacation gradually coming to an end, school authorities are putting necessary arrangements in place to welcome pupils and students back to the classrooms.

Teachers are also preparing lesson plans and other teaching materials, while schools are working to ensure that classrooms and other learning facilities are ready for academic activities.

For many parents, preparations have also begun as they shop for school uniforms, textbooks, notebooks, school bags, shoes and other essential materials their children will need for the new session.

However, the cost of school-related items remains a concern for families, particularly those with multiple children in school. The financial burden associated with preparing children for a new academic session has continued to put pressure on household budgets.

Meanwhile, pupils and students are expected to return to school with renewed focus as they begin another academic year filled with lessons, examinations, extracurricular activities and other school programmes.

School administrators have also urged parents and guardians to ensure that their children resume on time and are adequately prepared for the new session.

The resumption is expected to mark the beginning of another academic journey for millions of Nigerian pupils and students, with schools looking forward to a productive and successful session.
