Schools are environments where children are nurtured into becoming upright individuals and good leaders. The schools are however faced sometimes with difficult situations in entrenching discipline and moulding characters. Malpractices, disrespect, disobedience, mannerlessness, and deliberate flouting of school rules are notable examples among others. It is highly important for parents to take the discipline of their wards seriously to complement the efforts of the school teachers. Schools also need to look into the quality of teachers employed to serve as role models. There should be adequate disciplinary procedures to forestall behavioural excesses, devoid of selective dispensation of justice.
