Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal are reportedly considering a move for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen as they prepare to part ways with former Real Madrid star Karim Benzema before the close of the summer transfer window.

Osimhen has continued to impress since joining Galatasaray, recording 59 goals and 16 assists in 74 appearances across all competitions. His prolific form has once again attracted interest from clubs outside Turkey, with Al Hilal reportedly among the latest sides monitoring his situation.
According to Sky Sport Switzerland, the Saudi club is closely following the Super Eagles forward and could make an approach for his services. Galatasaray are reportedly prepared to consider his departure, with the Nigerian striker valued at approximately €65 million—around ₦102 billion.
Al Hilal reportedly view Osimhen as a potential replacement for Benzema, whose departure would create room for another high-profile attacking signing. The Saudi giants are therefore looking to convince the Nigerian forward to make the switch to the Saudi Pro League.
However, the proposed transfer is far from guaranteed. Osimhen’s decision will ultimately play a major role, as Al Hilal must persuade the striker to leave Turkey and continue his career in Saudi Arabia.
With the new campaign approaching, Osimhen will be eager to settle the uncertainty surrounding his future and concentrate on building on his impressive goalscoring record.
For now, Al Hilal’s reported interest adds another intriguing chapter to the Nigerian striker’s transfer story, with a potential ₦102 billion move now being closely watched.
