The students of Shining Star College, Kubwa, Abuja, has emerged as winners of the 2024 World Water Day Competition, in FCT Abuja and awarded the Best Private School- Federal Ministry of Water Resources & Sanitation.
This came after students of the school displayed an unbelievably compelling and soul-arresting drama presentation, which awed not only the dumbfounded judges but the thrilled audience.
The competition was organised by the Federal Ministry of Water Resources & Sanitation in commemoration of “World Water Day 2024.” Participating schools had been charged to act a short drama depicting the theme “Water for Peace”
“Our dear creatives were not deterred by the ‘dying-minutes’ notification of the event. They quickly swung into action, proving why they are really Shining Stars” the indefatigable Director of Admin of the school Ms. O. Imomoh had said, while reacting to the cheering news.
This cements the fact that students of Shining Star Group of Schools Kubwa are not only exceptional in academics, but also in co – curricular activities, proving why the school prouds in this achievement and more, because as the saying goes—if you want to be the best, you’ve got to beat the best.
