A year ago, Samsung introduced the first devices built for Galaxy AI. The Galaxy S24 Series unlocked the starting line for new ways to be creative and discover the world, new ways to communicate and lower language barriers, and new ways to be productive and self-expressive.
With the Galaxy S25 and the latest One UI 7, Samsung is launching new AI features, starting with the updated Google Gemini.
Gemini is an AI assistant helping you in the most helpful ways possible, whether it’s connecting to apps to perform tasks or helping you in free-form conversations. Now on Galaxy S25, you can connect Gemini to both Google and Samsung apps. And the best part is that all S25 models get 6 months of Gemini Advanced, and 2TB of cloud storage at no extra cost. At Google DeepMind, they released Project Astra, a research prototype that shows how powerful an AI assistant can be. And they’re proud to be working with Samsung to bring all the new AI capabilities to the Gemini app. I’m excited to tell you that new features are coming, first to Android and the Galaxy S25 Series.
Before I tell you the other features, let’s see the design. The design of the S25 Series is amazing, from the titanium colors to the rounded edges. The Ultra now has curved rounded edges to match the S25, S25+, and S25 Edge. Because of this, it now has a 6.9-inch display.
While the S25 and S25+ have a 6.2 and 6.7-inch screen. These phones even have blue colors to represent AI. ProScaler makes the display better. The S25 Series has the Corning® Gorilla® Armor Aluminum, and it’s the first time the Galaxy S25 Ultra has a ceramic glass cover. Corning® Gorilla® Armor 2 is the most durable protective screen yet.
The S25 also provides outstanding performance to help you in playing games or completing quick tasks. Samsung partnered with Qualcomm in making the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, powered by a 40% stronger NPU, this processor is the powerhouse behind Galaxy AI. This processor is the first 3nm AP for Galaxy smartphones. And now, these devices now use a new heat dissipation architecture that fits between the APs, so no heat is carried to the rest of the phone. And there are some times your phone taps out before you do. So, I am excited to share that all S25 models present 31 hours of battery life on a single charge.
