Once upon a time, a farmer had a goose that laid a golden egg every day. The egg made the farmer have money. The farmer and his wife enjoyed it for a long time. But one day, the farmer reasoned that he should take all of them at once to make a lot of money.
The foolish farmer’s wife also agreed and decided to cut the goose. As they killed the bird and cut the goose, they just saw blood. The farmer then realised his foolish mistake. He cried over the loss of resources! The proverb that says “kill not the goose that lays the golden egg’’ was also derived from this classic story.
Moral lesson: Think before you act.
