Scheduled for Saturday, November 28, 2026, in Lagos, the event will be held under the theme, “The Human Spark of Innovation.”
Founded by technology entrepreneur and innovation advocate, Christyn Obiajulu, TechFeast aims to create opportunities for learning, networking, innovation and collaboration while helping participants understand how technology is transforming businesses, careers and everyday life.
Obiajulu said the initiative recognises that technological advancement alone does not drive meaningful innovation, stressing the importance of human creativity, adaptability, critical thinking and collaboration.
According to her, TechFeast is designed to bring together people willing to learn, challenge conventional thinking, embrace new possibilities and work together to develop practical solutions.
Activities will begin with Future Skills Week, a virtual programme scheduled for November 23 to 27. The programme will feature masterclasses covering areas such as cybersecurity, cloud computing, data-driven business decisions, public speaking, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship and career development.
Participants will also explore creativity in the age of generative AI, the growing opportunities for one-person businesses and the human qualities required to remain relevant in an increasingly technology-driven economy.
The virtual sessions will lead into the main TechFeast experience on November 28, featuring learning sessions, networking opportunities, innovation showcases, engaging conversations and entertainment.
The event is expected to provide different opportunities for participants across professional and educational backgrounds. Students and graduates will have access to conversations and connections that could support their education-council-launch-career-centre-to-prepare-students-for-global-healthcare-jobs/">career development, while entrepreneurs and business leaders will explore emerging technologies, business opportunities, and potential collaborations.
TechFeast also promotes continued community engagement through TechFeast 1000, an initiative built around the message, “Every KM Counts.” The campaign encourages participants to walk or run, record their kilometres and contribute towards a collective target of 1,000 kilometres ahead of the main event.
The organisers said the initiative is designed to extend the TechFeast experience beyond a single gathering by encouraging continuous learning, meaningful relationships and community participation.
With its focus on technology, creativity and human capabilities, TechFeast 2026 seeks to prepare young Nigerians and professionals for emerging opportunities while encouraging them to become active contributors to innovation and economic development.
