Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) Project has partnered with Partnership for Learning for All in Nigeria (PLANE) for the betterment of learning outcome and access to education in Kano State.
To this end, the AGILE Kano State Implementation Unit (SPIU) under the leadership of Malam Mujtapha Aminu has on Thursday met with PLANE team under the leadership of Malam Umar Lawan.
The areas of collaboration identified include provision of conducive learning atmosphere in schools, digital literacy, supporting state data management and administration, addressing the menace of out of school children, implementation of state girls’ education policy and Kano State Gender Equity and Social Inclusion policy, among others.
During the visit, the AGILE Project Coordinator Malam Mujtapha Aminu was accompanied by his deputy, Malam Ahmad Jibril, Hajiya Halima Sadiya Tukur (Lead, Social norms), Mustapha Ukasha (Project Procurement Officer), Hajiya Rabi Yusuf (Project Internal Auditor), Bashir Kabir (GRM), Garba Rabiu Shanono (Project Environmental Safeguard) and Nasiru Yusuf Ibrahim (Communication Officer).
The PLANE team consists of State Team Leader Malam Umar Lawan, Hajiya Zainab Arah (System Strengthening), Hajiya Umma Rakana (State Reform Facilitator) and Alhaji Abdurrahman Abdu (State Reform Facilitator).
