Children’s Day: Student of Bright Sun College emerges One-day Lagos Commander of FRSC

As part of the activities to mark the 2025 on Children’s Day celebration, an SS2 student of Bright Sun College, Lagos, Khalid Popoola, served as the one-day sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Lagos Command.

He was put in charge of all the events at the parade ground on that day. School children from several other schools both from primary and secondary were involved in the March Past to mark the children’s day celebration. 

The one-day sector commander, Popoola, made a mature display of the ceremonial authority conferred on him by the corps.

Other programmes organised by the FRSC Lagos Sector to mark the 2025 Children’s Day include a Public Lecture on the Contributions of Children to safety on the highway, Quiz and debate competition, match past, singing, dancing, and choreography, among others.

Prizes and awards were given to the winners, among which was Bright Sun College. It was indeed a Children’s Day to be remembered for a long time and the children thanked the commander and officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Lagos State Command.
