I know there are times you feel like a fog has settled in your brain because you simply can’t get anything in in out. Well that’s because you’ve been overexerting it and pushing it to it’s limits that the only way to rebel and get your attention is to simply not do what it’s asked to.
The following are reasons why your brain acts like that sometimes;
– You’re multitasking; you think you can go to school, come back, go to lessons or islamiyya, youth group meetings at the church,come back by the evening and still doom scroll on TikTok and read? News flash, you can’t. Remember you’re only human
– Your phone; as much as I hate to admit it, but yes, whenever your mom says the phone is the reason or cause of whatever you’re going through, she’s 51% right. Staring at screens for too long, being super unproductive can really take a toll on your brain even though it makes you happy. Remember that too much of a good thing is bad too.
– Stress; stress from school is even enough to make your brain go haywire. It literally has a way of draining you and sucking the life out of you.
How do you clear the fog from the brain you say? Well the following are little tips on how to:
– SWITCH OFF YOUR PHONE FOR A FEW HOURS!!: On a more serious note, please do it because you’ll literally see the change. You’ll be doing yourself a favour and not subjecting yourself to all those cringe pick me videos from all those “influencers”.( Ne influenced positively).
– Plan your day; this is coming from the most disorganized person in the world so believe me when I say it actually works. Even though you might not follow it to a tee, it will literally give you an idea on how to go about your day and reduce the workload.
-Reward yourself: reward yourself every once in a while, it can be by binging on a series or taking a walk, going out with friends ( Most preferably the latter) because you deserve it, from all that studying and high school drama, I mean everyone deserves a break.
-Last but not least, SLEEEPPPP, I don’t know why you guys don’t like sleeping, I love sleeping more than I like pressing my phone oo.
