A student participant, Fareedah Olarewaju, an SS3 student and school prefect of CMS Girls Senior Grammar School, advised young girls to remain focused on their studies and avoid distractions that could affect their future goals.

She noted that teenagers face emotional pressures but stressed the importance of discipline, abstinence and determination in achieving success. She also encouraged students to take advantage of skill acquisition opportunities within the community.

Fareedah said she hopes to study accounting at the University of Lagos after completing her secondary education.

Also speaking, Omolara Lala of the National Association of Bariga Students urged students to embrace entrepreneurship alongside formal education, noting that job opportunities are becoming more competitive.

She said the programme was designed to help students develop their talents, stay focused and challenge negative stereotypes about Bariga.

According to her, students were encouraged to remain disciplined, hard-working and committed to their future goals.
