Teenage motherhood is when a teenager gets pregnant under the age of 20. It usually refers to teens from 15 – 19. Pregnant teenagers are most likely to face the same pregnancy complications as adult women.
Teenage pregnancy is a complex social issue that impacts not only the young parents but also their families, communities, and society at large. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), about 12million girls aged 15 to 19 give birth each year, which highlights the pressing need for effective solutions.
Teenage pregnancy is a critical issue that requires attention and action from all sectors of society. By understanding its causes and consequences and implementing supportive measures, we can help young
