The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has asked all candidates registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to print their examination notification slips.
In a statement released on Thursday, JAMB spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, said the main examination will begin on Thursday, April 16, 2026.
He advised candidates to print their slips early to check important details such as their exam date, time, and venue, as the examination will take place over several days.
To print the slip, candidates are to visit the official JAMB website and select the 2026 UTME slip printing option.
JAMB explained that each candidate has been given a specific schedule and urged them to arrive at their centres early. This, according to the board, will allow enough time for proper screening and accreditation before the exam starts.
The board also warned candidates and computer-based test (CBT) centre operators to avoid any form of exam malpractice. It said new and improved security measures have been introduced for this year’s examination, and anyone caught breaking the rules will face strict penalties.
Meanwhile, JAMB recently released the results of the 2026 UTME mock examination conducted on March 31 across 989 CBT centres nationwide.
The board also revealed that it has delisted 20 CBT centres due to technical problems that affected the smooth running of the mock exam in some parts of the country.
