Students of Deeper Life High School in Uyo and Abia states have emerged victorious at the 2025 edition of the Roseline Etuokwu National Secondary School Quiz Competition.
The duo of Mmenyene Ekpo and Editimfon Nkaha from the Uyo campus of Deeper Life High School secured the first position and won a N5m grand prize, Mba Promise and Obari Agnes from the Aba campus won N2m prize for their second-place finish.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Director of Online School of Deeper Life High School, Richard Otojahi, on Saturday.
According to Otojahi, students from the Uyo campus of the school, representing the South-South region, clinched the top prize, while those of Aba campus, representing the South-East, took second place at the grand finale of the competition held recently.
The national competition brought together six top-performing schools from across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones to compete in Mathematics, English, and General Knowledge at Ibadan.
“This victory is a testament to our commitment to providing a holistic education that fosters academic excellence, critical thinking, and a passion for learning. We congratulate Sigma Club, University of Ibadan, for organizing such a valuable competition that promotes academic excellence among secondary school students across Nigeria,” the statement read.
