A- Airway: If an injured person is unconscious, one can check to see if the airway of the person is open just by the way a person is taking and responding to questions. If they can talk, chances are that the airway is clear and fine. If the person is unconscious, check whether the nose and mouth are clear and there is no obstruction which makes breathing hard or impossible; use all means to clear the airway.
B- Breathing: the next step is to check if the person is breathing properly by putting your ear close to the nose and mouth. If not breathing, force air into the mouth and close it tightly so that the air does not escape.
C- circulation: check the pulse of the patient at the wrist, upper arm, and neck areas. If no pulse, perform CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation). Interlock your fingers and compress the chest to pick up the heart.
