The 3Ds of gifts and talents are Discovery (identifying your gifts), Development (cultivating your gifts) and Deployment (using your gifts). These three phases help individuals identify, nurture, and utilise their gifts and talents effectively.
Discovering your gifts and talents is a process of finding or locating your strengths and abilities. The way to discover your gifts and talents are, to reflect on your passion and interests, identify your strengths and natural abilities, ask others for their observations, take assessments and personality test, explore various activities and hobbies.
Development is the process by which an individual`s innate capabilities are identified and nurtured. The ways to develop your gifts and talents are to learn and seek training, practice consistently to refine skills, set goals and track progress, embrace challenges and step out of comfort zones and seek feedback from others.
Deployment means organising growth and success. The ways in which we can deploy our gifts and talents are by identifying opportunities to serve others, volunteer and take on new responsibilities, share your talents with others, pursue professional ventures and finally seek ways to improve and expand impacts.
The benefits of 3D`s of gifts and talents are, it brings personal fulfillment and purpose, it impacts other people`s lives, helps in building meaningful relationship and it contributes to community growth.
