My grandmother is 75 years old and she is a retired civil servant. A day with her has taught me much about life. She made life look beautiful, sweet and bitter with the stories she told me about herself.
She said: “Khadija, I have told you a lot of stories, choose the one that you love best and shape your life around that and remind yourself to be blessed.”
I really want to shape my life around the sweet and bitter story because I know life is not a bed of roses.
